Hi, Joy.

I had the pleasure of listening to your recording of Pilgrim’s Progress about a year ago, I think, and enjoyed it immensely. I recently purchased a copy of the book and a study guide for a closer reading and was surprised to find that as soon as I started to read, I heard your voice in my head speaking those wonderful words! What an unexpected pleasure. I suppose you will forever be the “voice” of Pilgrim’s Progress for me. Thank you for your work, and I look forward to checking out other titles you have recorded.

God bless, Tina LoTufo

Hi Joy,
Am trying to find your podcast of “Pligrim’s Progress”. Wanted to point some others to it. Can’t find it on list of audio books. Has it been moved to Internet Archive?
Thanks.

Hmm.. don’t know why the link is not showing up on that page. Will have to investigate. It has been archived, but should still be visible here. The direct link seems to work: http://viedecousu.com/category/audiobooks/bunyan-john/pilgrims-progress
There is a post there with a link to the Librivox page (which in turn has links to the Internet Archive page, bitTorrent file etc.)

Hi Joy I hve been listening to your Andrew Murray “Absolute surrender” and currently “School of obedience”. I thought your reading was “out of this world” excellent!! Keep it up.I was surprised to see that you reside in Sydney. I’m at Parramatta and I attend Wentworthville Baptist Church. God Bless you, keep up the good work and look after your prize asset-your wonderful voice. Kevin

I was just wondering if you would know if pilgrims progress had been republished and about what year if it had I have one and its a hard back book and it has onion paper in it between all the pictures. there is no date in it. It came from scottland England. It was bought in Texas in 1980. it has a black cover on it. if you have any information on it could you please email me back.

Your voice is the only beautiful on librivox, everything else is horrible American noise; your work is admirable.

Greetings from the 19-year old composer from Denmark! (Austria)

Thank you for the compliment, though I don’t think it’s necessary to put down everyone else on Librivox. There are some really fantastic voices over there, and a wide range of accents :)

Joy,
Heard your wonderful reading of Tristan and Isolde on the CraftLit podcast. Did you know that Heather Ordover of that podcast used your work there? So many of us listeners of her podcast heard you there and enjoyed your reading. Your voice and accent are perfect for that story and you did a wonderful, powerful job of reading that story. Your editing is perfect and I know that does not come without effort. I am a Librivox reader, as well, so I really appreciate the effort that goes into those recordings. Keep up the great work. I am a new fan! (You can find me on Librivox as beckym)
