Bald patches grow­ing
Ancient seams unrav­el­ling
Etern­ally dear.

Rem­nants of beauty
Deeply hid­den beneath snow
Cruel mir­ror of truth
Des­per­ate striv­ing to reclaim
That which will never return.

Golden hair shin­ing
Hid­den, for­got­ten, unseen
Locked in a tower
