I read this story as a child and I guess it lay dormant in my mind somewhere because I felt sad when I came accross the title on Librivox, though I couldn’t recall the story. It’s such a beautiful and tragic tale and I adored your reading of it. I’m currently downloading more of your work - thank you so much for the time and effort you put into sharing your love of literature.
